That fact that they ever did this is kinda crazy. Did they not imagine that someone would try to sell counterfeit products? Commingling means that a seller could be hit by a refund and bad review for a product that was never theirs.

To me that seems like we're mistaken in mixing fiction and non-fiction in AI training data. The "a revolutionary titan of industry" makes sense if you where reading a novel where something like 90% of a book is describing the

While I am fairly skeptical of LLMs and the current version of AI that are being peddled by companies like OpenAI, the main problem is, once again, social media. That someone is vibe-coding their application, running the symptoms of their i

For many of us it's mostly a gimmick, and as a former colleague pointed out: If an attacker is so deep into my phone or laptop that they can turn on the camera and microphone, pictures of my fat ass naked online is the least of my conc

As a Dane, while slightly angry, and gravely concerned for the people of Greenland, I'm still more fearful of the safety and mental well-being of my US friends and colleague than I am for my own.

We should assume that at least a portion of the ads spending currently being channeled towards search would be redirected towards AI, but even then I question if the ad market is large enough to fund all the tech and media companies that re

Never thought of ChatGPT as being just one of the GPTs that could exist, but it make a lot of sense. In a world where OpenAI where better managed, more focused on actually delivering actual value, ChatGPT would be the show case AI product,

That's an interesting observation. Apple doesn't really have an AI offering, so they have nothing to stuff into Safari. In general Apples failure to produce an AI offering might turn out to be an advantage long term.

Most of the "AI" features added in Firefox makes no sense. They provide very little value to most people, but they are unreasonably hard to disable. Other than jumping the AI bandwagon, I have yet to understand why Mozilla keeps p

In some sense I agree, there is a level of defeatism in at least part of the wisdom of the stoics and very little questioning of authority. You do have the "If it's not right don't do it, if it's not true don't say

For many, if not most, of the sites I regularly visit, text based browsers work surprisingly fine. My main complaint is actually the structure of the html. In many cases sites could improve massively, if they moved navigation to below the a
