Excellent list. I created an almost identical list of precise goals and it is already helping me.

The first computer I ever owned had the motherboard die after a few days, maybe I have bad luck. Almost every hard drive I have had has failed. I just had a new 500 gig I used for backups fail after less than a year. It replaced a 160 gig

As with any good conspiracy theory, there are chunks of truth in there. There are many people doing this type of activity on smaller scale.

I don't think the world is an illusion - but rather our perception of the world is. We only see a very limited spectrum of light, but we don't realize the massive gaps we cannot see. All of our senses are a tiny pinhole into the world, and

Id recommend reading Godel Escher Bach. It talks about how complex things can be built from simple building blocks. There really are no answers other than it is impossible to exclude such complexity from a system.

I would keep enough cash so I wouldn't have to work for someone again (including investors). Then I would continue doing things similar to now, but with no business model in mind. I would also travel more. Sadly(?) I think thats all that w

No...he isn't a 'tax collector' - he is a head auditor for a region of the country. He has caught some Superman 3 style schemes at major institutions. He really is doing a great service because he is incredibly smart and hard working and

Absolutely disagree with the generalization. A friend is an auditor for the gov. He routinely gets offers for 5x salary from clients he is auditing (illegally). Why does he do it? Because he loves what he does. He feels he is doing somet

If your plan is to make a lot of money, you only need to get rich once. No disrespect to Mr. Buffet - I hold him in the highest regard in terms of character. However, his goal is to make a lot of money and have his companies achieve this a

Dropping out to save money seems like such a waste to me. Money is such an imaginary good. The difference between having 10k debt and 100k debt is marginal. Both situations you have to make monthly payments and need a source of income. Ig

I agree with your summary - but why have they even survived this long with such shoddy workmanship? GM's have been poorly built for at least 10 years. Same with Ford. My father owned an auto repair shop, and there seemed to be a big gap in
