On a M4 Macbook Air, there was enough lag to make it unusable for me. I hit the shortcut and start speaking but there was always a 1-2sec delay before it would actually start transcribing even if the icon was displayed.

As per the OPs comment - but an email doesn't inherently come with > a name, a profile picture and a way to be linked-back to something else immediately

Would tend to agree. Interesting concept but unless it's all encrypted, I wouldn't trust this at all.

Connecting your washing machine to the internet and then observing the outgoing traffic and knowing that it is obscenely high simply IS tech-savvy as compared to the average person. On HN or similar circles, maybe not - but that isn't

Yeah I mean - that machine isn't going to struggle with much! I'm on an M1 Mac and it's pretty smooth. Of course, maybe I just have terribly low standards.

Hundreds of thousands, in fact. But I bet it’s a downward trend with no hope of a turnaround.

I am fairly indifferent to Slack - I have to use it for work. But our experiences seem so vastly different: - UI is, with the exception of large media, snappy and pretty native feeling - no jumps (that I can recall) The mobile app is okay

I did read that but I don't think I am/was in ketosis - I've eaten a fair amount of carbs (rice/pasta/potatoes).

On a desktop it was fairly comfortable - on mobile it was too fast to sustain/process the information beyond seeing the words.

Kind. Thank you.

Have fixed - let me know what you think.

Give it a go on a desktop monitor - it should be a lot slower. The nature means smaller screens will scroll faster - I'm pushing a change shortly that will mean the sync isn't as accurate but it'll be nicer to view on all dev

Thank you :-) There actually is a small icon on the bottom right (removed on mobile) but I obviously made it TOO subtle!

I have pained over this for a while and tried to find a happy medium...but on reflection and walking away for a while, I think it is slightly too fast. Will update.

I have a very simple setup using 11ty ( https://rory.codes ) - but nowhere near as simple as this. Very impressive!

Assuming this isn't snark - because if I am looking for a tool to do a job, seeing an immediate visual representation of what I am likely to expect is very helpful. I don't want to go through the full installation to view a demo a

I find it interesting there is no major mention of the failed Europe/Africa expansion. It was a great program that launched my career as well as many others - but God behind the scenes was insanity.

Have you seen some of the nutrition "drinks" and replacement shakes that MANY (including the NHS) recommend for IBD sufferers? It's utter insanity.
