Those were questions for an engineering position right? Not a a product manager position?

This was for a marketing position though, not an engineering position. I wouldn't expect someone trained in marketing to be good at BOEC or be as analytical as an engineer.

If you're interested in this, check out the book Mindset by Carol Dweck. I recommend it, it's amazing how hackable your mind is. http://www.amazon.com/Mindset-Psychology-Success-Carol-Dweck...

Most of the web designs look great! How did everyone manage to put together such sharp looking sites? I'll just tell myself they had designers so I don't feel to badly about my design skills (i'm a programmer) :)

I tried it and was disappointed. For example search Wolfram Alpha for "Abraham Lincon's Height" and it won't be able to figure it out. Search Google, and it will be parsed out nicely at the top of the page, no wading through search results

I've spent a lot of time learning math (have a CS degree, which required lots of math). But sadly, I'm not comfortable enough with differential equations to come up with a solution like the first part. It makes sense once someone else has d

When I used Seaside about two years ago I was fantastically productive with it. It abstracted away HTTP more than the current popular toolkits like Django and RoR by using continuations. It was also awesome to edit things live without havin

I love the one on Obj-C "1986 - Brad Cox and Tom Love create Objective-C, announcing "this language has all the memory safety of C combined with all the blazing speed of Smalltalk." Modern historians suspect the two were dyslexic."
