Isn't all of IE at something like 3% market share these days? If so, is it worth holding back web development for such a small user base?

Fair enough, there were a lot of radical UX changes early on but we’ve never had a problem with stability / reliability, by comparison we see a number of Github outages over any given year - to be fair that’s on the hosted product but

Complete and utter FUD, this is not the way GitLab operates - more importantly they are from the core an open source and transparent organisation that values both equally.

Indeed, nor was LinkedIn, Yammer etc... there is no ‘new’ Microsoft - that’s the same old marketing spin they use every decade to try and make themselves seem ‘hip’ by blaming previous employees rather than changing their ugly business mode

I agree that bitbucket aka shitbucket like all Atlassian products is a POS, but GitLab is far from unstable? We moved to GitLab (self hosted) and it’s been nothing but incredibly reliable for our 120~ people organisation and we use it heavi

While I highly doubt that, GitLab is Open Source - Github is not Open Source.

You pretty much too the words out of my mouth - I was talking with someone about this just yesterday. I suspect that when interfacing with 3rd parties that are over-burdened with inefficient processes it means that he/they have to sto

I also highly recommend Reeder for both iOS and macOS, it’s absolutely brilliant and it’s an actual native program not more of this JavaScript in a web frame bloat/slothware.

Really? ST3 has had almost daily dev releases leading up to 3.1 and before that it was at least once a week.

Interesting you say that, in the dev shop where I work practically all the devs and ops people use sublime text as their editor of choice, I think there’s a couple that use vim.

While I don't really 'care' about the logo of a programming language per se, this makes 'GO' look like a courier / delivery company to me, it also seems a little odd that both letters are the same case.

Yeah, it didn't need new all new Aircon but we got the Aircon techs in to look at it and they're changing where the inlet vents are located and adding an additional unit of separation into the ducting.

I agree with those that say RSS never went away, for the last 10 years or so I’ve noticed my dependence on RSS grow and it’s critical to my keeping track of news across a number of blogs and websites. I wrote a shitty little blog post on it
