Selectively suspending threads is a good feature, but be warned that it can cause arbitrary deadlocks, which won't be possible otherwise. Eg. it's possible to suspend a thread in a synchronised method and then the other thread wil

This is just mind boggling. This article is another piece that shows that economists are behaving like evil... pure evil! Leave aside experiments on humans and animals, these guys are basically experimenting with families and entire nations

That's correct. RSA (like everything else) is a deterministic encryption. That is why we must do one of the two: 1. Use a random padding 2. or always encrypt a random number. the former is PKCS#5, the latter is what https does.

Yes. That's how patents work. Patents violations cover both creators of the infringing device and users.

Yes its not the first time someone had last money on "time sensitive investment opportunities" aka gambling. And yes there are lots of people who do that with 100% of their disposable income. They also usually lose it all.

I use this amazing invention for highlighting things in my books, it also has a fantastic undo function. It called a pencil and costs pennies. You should try it sometime.

I'd make a guess in absence of code. Since none of the implementations were IO bound (unsaturated link), I'd bet on memory management as the deciding factor (it's hard to assume that an authentication service will be CPU bound). Then it's n
