Fixing one at a time like that is a good way to get into an endless cycle. Zoom out a bit and make a plan before you start coding.

22 assertions in a test is a lot better than 22 separate tests that fail for the same reason.

I think OP needs to provide some evidence for the no severance accusation.

Your car is going to cause a mass extinction. My gun is going to sit in my closet. Critical thinking is, as they say, critical.

This makes absolutely no sense. Newspapers and cars have high societal value but reading the paper while driving a car does not.

It makes no sense. Can we apply this to all the other layoffs and probably upcoming layoffs in the coming weeks from big tech? How is Twitter the only company guilty of this?

I don't understand how anyone could not blame activists for this? They themselves are taking credit for it.

Have you tried paying industry rates? I've never understood the idea that a greater number of less qualified people is a way to build a "top-notch" product. Scale down and hire the people you need.

No it doesn't. If everyone owned an SUV but drove less and used public transportation we'd be on the right track. Getting everyone in cars is a losing battle.

Even self flushing toilets are often broken. A certain building I worked at I had to jump off quickly and out of the way so it didn't spray up with a trigger happy mega flush.

You just need a single person on the team to learn the other commands. If you are good at fixing bad merges make sure you don't let anyone know.

Coming to the conclusion that models don't generalize well could be because you are seeking to create solutions to more interesting problems. I don't spend resources on an AI team and have been surprised as how well models do gene

Are you under the impression that working for the white house is a prestigious position? These aren't America's brightest filling these positions. Quite the opposite.

I agree the strategy failed but the rest of what you said is wrong. We don't care about the global price. We care about the price paid to Russia. There isn't enough in our reserve to move that needle.

It is a talking point because it is disgusting behavior from our government. The idea that a part of our strategic oil reserves doesn't match what we want to refine locally or in our allied countries is laughable.

We also need OP to do some self reflection and decide if this is really spaghetti code or they are just lazy learners. It is easy to look at complicated projects and only see the complexity.

C is simple in a similar way that performing surgery is. Scalpel and whiskey can go a long ways if the training is accurate. A bad surgeon could also be overwhelmed by the amount of modern tools and use the wrong one. But a surgeon up to da

Having a bunch of small packages instead of a few larger ones would be considered increasing surface area in most security software. You could do it safely but I wouldn't be evangelizing this as a sound idea.

Nobody can type a message to a computer without knowing how the interface works. I think you are confused on this topic. Natural language is just a translation layer. If you wanted to you could put AI on top of a UI that works on intent as

Natural language interfaces are very limited and certainly not the next generation of computing. Granularity of functionality and composable input will always be more efficient as long as the original source is a human. I think the natural
