You’re trying to run MacOS on unsupported hardware and configuring it yourself (instead of letting Apple do it as they always do) which is the only reason it’s more frustrating than Linux. Buying Linux vs. MacOS directly from the manufactur

I’ve seen way too many Dell lemons to believe its as simple as “it just works” with Linux. Also, as someone who used to live next door to the creator of GNOME, saying it isn’t as polished as MacOS is quite an understatement.

Yes Mac multi-monitor support is a weakness. As I said, the point wasn't that one person had hardware issues. Its that I constantly see people buy Linux laptops and have hardware/software issues as the two are quite related on Lin

I don’t disagree with your point but it only addresses part of my problem. For one thing, the Linux UIs like GNOME and KDE are terrible. They do the job for some people but I would willingly pay more to use OS X without hesitation. I also h

Nope there is competition so Citi can’t just increase interest rates across the board and add a bunch of new fees. The shareholders will take most of the loss. If Citi tries to increase prices, Amex and Chase will laugh and scoop up their c

Honestly if Citi stole $1000 from me but now everyone has to pay $0.01 towards an audit so everyone can get their stolen money back, it’s worth it. They stole the money and they should pay it back with interest. I don’t care if it’s expensi

Obviously you need to be able to compare fees, but I don’t see the issue with a large cleaning fee if that is what it costs. One friend has an Airbnb in a ski village and he pays the building cleaners $150 to clean his rather small unit bec
