HUGE Babylon 5 fan here, but any sort of B5 film adaptation would have been a complete crap. Different stories need different mediums?

Assume you mean the 20GB limitation being iCloud storage? Both iOS and macOS Photos can “optimize photos storage” and will build index of full library without needing to keep photos on device after they’re analyzed / indexed.

INTP/J here. I’ve found most strong friendships created over over past decade we’re with very, very similar Myers-Briggs types. Wanna be friends?

Clearly the answer is to upgrade several million cameras to 4K, 60fps, IR at night models. Then all can do facial recognition, APNR, etc.

Again, why? FWIW I have a fancy degree in computer science and spent my childhood rebuilding and scraping together old 2/3/486 boxes. Yet I think it’s terrific that someone would be interested enough to enroll in a CS program with

Haven’t read the novels yet, but have watched half of Altered Carbon series on Netflix. This was the first thing that came to and a resounding ‘hell no.’

Can’t help but wonder if in another 40 years, if this sentiment be viewed as being absurd, similar to how we’d find hypothetical comments from 35-40 years ago as absurd: personal computers being nothing more than calculator or hobby, and “n

I lost my daughter 6 years ago this month to a very, very similar scenario. Multiple visits to doctor over the week, small improvements, then on Sunday a decline. Went to ER, where she fought the nurse enough such the nurse wasn’t too conce

Bummed about that. Enjoyed the premise. However, definitely not cheap to shoot on location across 5 continents (although i very much enjoyed the detail and contrast it provided)

Not only the catalog is rotting, but The physical discs have as well. We resubscribed to disc service last year, but have had a surprising number of cracked or heavily scratched discs compared to years ago.

How so? I modded my espresso machine. Basic wiring changes, new temp probes and controller unit. put it on par with machines 1.5x-2x more expensive. Rice cooker mods likely similar.

This one was off by a tremendous amount for me. From any user expectations POV, the NYT calculator didn’t allow as many inputs, which forced me to accept that it would be ballpark approximation at best. However, the visuals gave me a good i

“click through rate from Google search went from 5.9% (Regular) to 10.3% (AMP), and average search position went from 5.9 (Regular) to 1.7 (AMP).” So ranking #2 in search results on average correlated with an increase in click through rate.

To be fair, Netflix is less interested in that you liked the thing itself, and more interested in the attributes of the films you liked or watched to the end. Note, this is based on an article from 2014 [1], but a good read nonetheless. [1]
