I don't know that it should be illegal. I think the argument would be that it's deceptive. DoorDash, for some customers, claims there is no service fee - it's "free." What they're really saying is: the service

Actually you made me think of a fun scenario. A robot, who I will name Robort, over time becomes, say, 1/10th the price of human labor. But they do 10x the work quality and work 10x longer. In that scenario, you could pay them the same

All of “circular” those bets only work if there are real purchase orders and real revenue. In fact the two major deals are literally tied to that. So it doesn’t answer my question. Real GPUs are bought. Presumably because real consumption i

So, okay, that’s interesting. Let’s play it out. Unilever buys a Facebook ad in hopes a robot will buy a razor and shave? And even if a robot needed to shave, what reason would a company have to pay it a wage where before it was only a cape

And how is UBI funded? Higher corporate taxes on (over time, as gross margins improve from inference cost deductions) more profitable companies? Or rather than higher taxes, more money printing because inflation is just so incredibly low be

This is nonsense. Why would they destroy the incentive to get real-time, live data and MCP actions that help their users? Connecting these apps will, at times, require authentication. Where it does not require payment, it's a fantastic

I’ve never heard of this in my life. Isn’t tinker a verb meaning to fiddle or edit or modify in small increments? That seems like the perfect name given what the software they’re present. In any case I guess this is back to the debate: does

This. I’ve been on HN for a while. I am barely hanging on to this community. It is near constant negativity and the questioning of every potential motive. Skepticism is healthy. Cynicism is exhausting. Thank you for posting this.
