If I remember correctly, 8.0 has them finally. 8.0 seems to have fixed a lot of the weird legacy eccentricities of MySQL

But they're not just hosting. A website shop will probably charge you a few thousand to build a site and then charge you again whenever you want changes. $150/yr just for that alone is a bargain to someone who cannot do it themsel

how does it compare against ciso8601 perf-wise? https://pypi.org/project/ciso8601/ to be fair ciso8601 only parses iso8601 datetimes, but that's enough for 90%+ of my use cases.

Couple additional things would be interesting: 1. UUID generator (v1/v4, etc...) 2. Text diff checker (two sets of text, show the differences). 3. JSON diff. Show differences between two large-ish json object. 4. CSV to JSON converter.

I can tell you that Google does not sell your information to anyone. They horde all of their data so that they can sell advertisements targeting groups of people (scarily accurate groups) but they won't sell data on individuals as that

Even worse yet, once you get the dongle you cannot use your mouse while it is charging cause the port is on the bottom.

Because HTML in emails is a notoriously painful process to get working even remotely well. Not all email providers support HTML in the same way. Some examples: * At one point Gmail did not support style tags and all styles had to be inline.

My Roku does (almost) the same thing. It defaults to 8.8.8.8 to attempt to block dns proxies, but if you block 8.8.8.8 on your router, unlike the Chromecast, it will actually use the DNS server my router provides.

One thing that Postgres does not do well is row churn. If you have a table that have rows that are constantly added/deleted/updated, Postgres tends to bloat pretty quickly because of the way they handle updates. Say what you will
