I don't read that sentence as saying that Autostrade are solely a PR company (and certainly the rest of the article makes clear that this is not the case), just that they are managing talking to the media for that subcontractor.

Absolutely. I've found I have a really hard time with how he writes action as well. I always feel as though he's describing someone playing a video game.

As a self-confessed Paw fanboy, I'm kinda baffled by this. It seems a bit like complaining that you're forced to work with spreadsheets in Excel or text documents in Word. You need _somewhere_ to put the requests, and even if you

Exactly, the average person didn't care how they were connecting their MP3 player to their computer, as long as they could connect it and the player itself was convenient size and looked nice.

They have all your saved passwords from your web browser, too, and your mac user account's password. I'd guess there's a reasonable amount of people who re-use at least one of those as their 1password master password.

And it seems like a good example of why more referendums wouldn't do much good in the current UK political system. Who's going to be setting the questions? Presumably the government? Which means realistically the Conservative part

I'd rather the UK did something about the effective disenfranchisement caused by FPTP parliamentary elections first.

Even the current UK government doesn't try to argue that the UK has lost its sovereignty by virtue of its EU membership. Its own white paper on Brexit acknowledged that the UK was still entirely sovereign. For the record, I'm real

That looks like a 'no', then. The UK not being able to make its own laws (as your original comment implied), seems to me to be a quite different thing to having to adopt EU directives (as you are now talking about), and I feel

Can you point to any case where the UK could not make a law that it wanted to because of "having to wait for Brussels"?

Surely "experts" were predicting things would change immediately _after the UK leaves the EU_. Which as the GP said, hasn't happened yet.

Yeah, I can access the URL from Austria, but I'm not sure I'm actually seeing info about the new XPS. There don't seem to be any specs anywhere, so it's hard to be sure.

I assume he's talking about files in Finder, where you can't just CMD+x, CMD+v like you'd expect (though I think there is some kind of CMD+SOMETHING+V shortcut that will move a file after copying it).

You didn't buy an iPhone in 'a while', but you imply that you own one where you can (unintentionally) use 3D touch, so either a 6S or a 7. So you didn't buy an iPhone since... last year?
