Good choice, I have a leaf and 50 miles round trip at with a good chunk of highway speeds is doable with a new battery. Once it gets a little age you'll be white knuckling it, especially when it comes to winter (depends how cold). If y

Your spot on that some stores are offering grocery services. Our local Hyvee is doing this and has been a life saver [1]. For this to work you already need a distribution imo. Orders over $50 are free for pickup, just drive there and they l

Same here, almost a year into buying a used Nissan Leaf and loving the crap out of it. If your still interested in an EV after the Tesla announcement would be an excellent time to pick one up - if it can work with your driving habits. Looki

That was my though exactly. The Nissan leaf does have a car side lock. Since things are getting heated one should use the lock in a responsible matter. Also with CarWings, Nissan remote control, I believe you can lock/unlock on the fly

I have been following the Neo9000 project and debating on getting a phone. They are crazy expensive since aren't produced in mass quantity, when they start shipping. We will see how it pans out.

Unfortunately I think it is justified. Don't forget James Clapper lying to congress about not spying on US citizens. I also got a video of it, https://youtu.be/9LKzAsIMUx8 Last I heard he was selling a book, not from j

"What I do not understand is why the US is the military for wealthy countries like Saudi Arabia." Could it be as simple as we are basically protecting OPEC in exchange so they can sell oil to us? I can't find any other reason

Just receiving the new sputnik, oh hell no, the Ubuntu install was so broken. The benefit of shipping it with Linux is at least they made a decent attempt to work with Linux. Why an attempt? See first sputnik laptop.
