We had the some problem evaluating it for our startup. We were planning on using it to deploy ROS in the field and leverage the benefits. I was quoted $20k/year to get started and I think that also included 10 or 20 devices in the fiel

I have been told a different take. The amount of airflow over the coils is important as the compressor system also expects a certain thermal exchange (think air conditioning) and thus a certain pressure on the return. Less air over the coil

If you are open to medical tourism, from experience would recommend Mexico private healthcare. I have been very impressed with private facilities and doctors. Out of pocket costs are very affordable including lab and imaging (ultrasound, CT

Highly recommend this as I have one to. The issue though is there are limits as to what they can do. If you have an issue that is above their capabilities you'll be referred to a specialist. This is the part that stinks as then you

Sure if you don’t want proper sleep/hibernate. Dell won’t fix and I’m still salty about it after buying two of them.

I am sorry for your loss you and your mother had to go through. I don't think I have ever experienced frustration at the level that you have working with the medical system in US.

Exiting to see more linux options including system76, framework, etc. I'm still really salty about the XPS13 not having proper sleep [1] and looking for other options. [1] - https://www.dell.com/community/XPS/

Ooof I think I have to agree with "we are cheap and nobody cares yet.". If we had a bad release go out that blocked nightly processing, for example, it was how amazing fast it became a ticket to CEOs start calling. One of the thin

Wow, I feel like that is a step back. This feels a lot like other protocols non free specs like J1939 that is over $1000USD.

I agree, we have these deployed in the field and have no issues with weather due to using more than the L1 band. Something isn't configured correctly or something failing, such as the antenna.

Same here too, I'm on my third XPS. This is the same crap that gets pulled with non linux supported laptop and I sort of understand. But these are specifically Linux supported.

Some of the automotive stuff is really great to get started. Was working on an agriculture robot and needed a good way to detect a level of something. In short a IP65+ hall effect sensor that can get wet and dirt no problem. The solution wa

I was thinking the same thing. I use spacemacs and have moved to about 5 laptops over the last five years. Just bring along the .spacemacs files and any supporting tools like ripgrep etc and I am up and running.

Same, also amazing how simple it is to implement a PID controller and how well the results are. I use them all the time for computer mechanical control interfaces. There are supposed to be better controllers but dang PID just work.
