The language description declares it is safe, but since you can dereference raw pointers, the language is not memory safe. Maybe it should be made clear that you are not claiming memory safety.

I imagine the machines are also quite loud, which would be sensory input. I haven't read the paper, but I wonder how they handle that.

I wonder if this formalism can be applied to Typescript. I occasionally come across tricky typing problems with higher order functions like "flatten" that this might be helpful for.
