I adore sad songs. I cannot really explain why, if you don't understand. My girlfriend doesn't get sad songs, and I just cannot explain it to her. When I am happy, sad songs can make me sad, and I don't want to hear them. But

You will have to ask the Plasma people :) One reason might be that it is written in Perl - GTK. Mageia Control goes way back to probably 1999. I don't understand why other distro's haven't picked it up. Most distro's ha

In case anyone wonders, why still Mageia (the old Mandrake/Mandriva)? There are still things in this distro, that others haven't picked up that well on. The Mageia Control Center can do basically anything you would want. It can de

When you are using 3G/4G, and not connected to Wifi, your phone still checks all the Wifi accesspoints continuously. When you know for yourself you don't connect to an accesspoint on that location, there is no point in having your

The funny thing is that this tablet was/is an Intel tablet. A lot of parts will probably follow laptop standards. The problems in this case were a bit diverse. I think an investor or manufacturere pulling out was the biggest reason.

If you still want a Jolla tablet, there is an indie project started. They had all the blueprints and designs of the original tablet device. Licensing of Sailfish OS should have been taken care of. The first step is to bring out a device wit

Which app is it? And do you have the source and Makefiles available? I would really love to see that, and maybe even get going there. I am still in doubt if I should learn Qt or Python.

Did you try Claws Mail for email? I have been using it for years and it is the best thing I ever used. Nothing comes close. There is also Sypheed, of which Claws is a fork. I consider both a 100 times better than Thunderbird.

What is a good thing is keeping on top of updates for WordPress Core, plugins and themes. You could decide to not upgrade when a new major version comes out, like 4.8.0, but wait till there is a 4.8.1. Often there is a rush to pack new feat
