Not even remotely close to 20 hours. I used this proj to learn rails and mongodb, I had a previous project that went nowhere to learn rails, I had a previous css scheme (before twitter's bootstrap came along), I used KnockoutJS intensively

Plans are refine the thing, go social and/or go mobile, to minimize the friction.

It seems I have to refine the lingo. You may have created 4 questionnaires instead. I'll have to set up a how-to real soon!

I'll think of something to clear up the confusion. I sure need to write a guide. You shouldn't have to press back, only left click on the questions and they would be added dynamically.

I've got to check that out.

Not yet, I have thought about this but I wasn't sure if I would be nagging people. Maybe a opt-in would be the best choice.

This is my first submission to hn, so be gentle with me. The app still has alot of work to do (eg: send email on registration), but I figure that I shouldn't wait anymore.

Looks good, although takes ages to load. Having design and coding skills is a dead combo! Keep up the good work.

The site looks good, although I prefer the low price you may be signalling low quality with 1£. BTW, it's nice to see that twitter's bootstrap framework is being used by alot of new projects. They sure filled a gap for non-designers.

I think this mindset illustrates the problem: You're looking for hacks, which means the normal route doesn't cut it. What ever happened to "just-effing-do-it"? When I want to get in a coding mood, I start coding. I know eventually I'll get

Same for the SOA/EAI scene, it has some jobs that require expertise, but the consulting pay is usually 500€/hr and more. Think TIBCO/webMethods products. Just to have an idea, these products are usually sold in the order of million(s) of €

It means that your body doesn't work as it was originally designed. Simple as that.

I believe that unless you are chemically, neurologically or biologically imbalanced, there's no excuse to be bitter or unhappy. I won't discuss happiness here, but even if the advice of some bitter person is good, I would say that an advice

I don't know from where you are typing, but there's an excellent service here in Portugal called mbnet. It allows you to create a "virtual credit card" where you define a limit and the bank generates a credit card number for you with the am

I believe it's almost impossible to get away without knowing CSS/HTML and JavaScript/jQuery/whatever. SQL is a big plus, not essential but almost. Im from a Java shop and recently started to learn rails, had a good experience with grails.

Just a minor advice. If you do it mostly for the money, you won't be near as successful as if you do it because you are passionated about it. Someone had to say this :P

Checkout Shpongle. It's great chillout. I hear anything that goes in the mood, from Heavy Metal like Gojira to Pop/Rock like K's Choice.

Ext JS is not free. Ext JS is only free for open source projects, they are dual licensed. They used to be free, but they "clarified" their rules. http://www.extjs.com/products/license.php

I would dare to suggest that you create a HN thread for other novices. Better yet, you use this thread to ask your questions, and some folks here will try and answer politely. Don't worry about the possible flak because of the n00b question
