Agreed. This whole post reads as "I'm the victim" but they don't admit on the one mistake that snowballed

> Oh, and say goodbye to pair-programming and collaboration, everyone is too focused earning those juicy story points. ugh yes this was my biggest gripe when my team used scrum at my last job. Collaboration was thrown out the window.

I couldn't finish this article but I wish the author published a book with all the articles. (I am less likely to procrastinate reading physical books :))

Do managers get PIPed too? I've only ever seen regular devs get PIPed

Ahhh of course, Pips! Mass layoffs in disguise, no severance, additional trauma! It's 3 for the price of 1! Best deal in town.

Yeah but if you're gonna build something, build something useful lol. Who wants an encyclopedia that returns inaccurate stuff? The whole point of an encyclopedia is that it's been reviewed by someone for accuracy

So you spent time building something that is actively less useful than what already exists in the world. I don't mean to be rude by that but I just don't get it.

https://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-har-sanitizer-secure... Maybe "laugh" is not accurate, idk. But their post kinda looked like 'here, we built this tool that should have been made by okta'.

It is funny that just a few days ago the company that laughed at Okta for a breach and whose core competency is availability are now experiencing an outage.

His book is awesome! One takeaway I had: code reviews matter. If your code is undergoing review and a reviewer tells you that something is not obvious, don’t argue with them; if a reader thinks it’s not obvious, then it’s not obvious.
