This is a question I have as well. Does everyone deserve to live in a place like SF or mid-town Manhattan for cheap, by forcing infinite housing supply? Or is it ok to price people out of areas, creating different classes of people & fo

I've always found playlists or indie music stations with actual DJs worked better than Spotify's algorithmic selections. Same with movie/TV show recommendations.

I'll never understand why a payment system needs to scale horizontally. Modern computer systems can scale to 500 or more processor cores. Each core runs billions of instructions per second. A system for a billion accounts on the scale

My guess is that Apple and Microsoft probably won't use any core tech that involves OpenGL anymore, moving to their own DirectX/Metal.

I didn't apply them to the sequels. I applied them to the Paul W.S. Anderson movie. Directors pretty much define the quality of the movies, so it's more important to follow them instead of the franchise itself.

A lot of tech people don't get this. You see this in web design, where they think HTML and CSS are separate domains. They think CSS is just pretty effects. Style can convey as much information as text.

All of Paul W.S. Anderson video-game movies are entertaining AF. Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Alien vs Predator. ALL well crafted & inspired movies. They're not going to win Cannes Palm d'Or, but they will hit the spot.

It's because SLRs are superior to mirrorless, since there are no advantages of a mirrorless camera over SLR tech. SLRs don't have the latency that mirrorless cameras have, which is important for sports & journalism. If you
