This is so dystopian. Some people kill others and run.. but let's not let a few asshole justify draconian surveillance for everyone else. I may like to go faster than the speedlimit sometimes.. why should I give that up?

Cars have a purpose - people get older, they are disabled, and they want to shop and not carry things. There is a lot of anti car sentiment here these days but many people depend on their cars and that won't change soon.

Get burned real bad and spend 72 hrs restoring service and you learn a lesson. This is the reason why sysadmins / devops / whatever exist. It's an entirely separate skill set from development.
