It is nice to read that Steve Wosniak supports the idea of iTunes on Android but to be honest, it does not make any sense for Apple. The battle of mobiles is not about the hardware and the OS, at least, not only, but about the ecosystem aro

Which kind of project was that? Was it just an experimentation, like the WebGL one?

Giving developers an environment they can play with and build great products around is the best way of achieving success. Let's not forget that Twitter would have never been that successful without its developer community. If you can attrac

I also like the color scheme. Might be a good idea in the future to allow every user to have his own color scheme, profile theme a la Twitter.

Even if tent.is now has 2000 users (including myself) over 24 hours, it does not mean that it will reach 12,000 people. With this kind of projects, people tend to subscribe, play with it a few minutes and then forget about it. Adoption for

You can get a Chrome like experience, as it uses a UIWebView under the hood, with limited features compared to the default Safari browser. It is better than nothing, but still far from what we can call a browser choice.

Having moved in London two years ago, I struggle to find a moment of intense quiet. The reason is mainly the planes that are authorized to fly above the city (a stupidity in my opinion) and even in the middle of a park, you can still hear t

How can you extract a ZIP on an iPhone and send the multiple files it contains (filtering some of them) by email in one shot? PS: it is a genuine question, I don't see how to do it from my experience.

I would be happy to give it a go as well, a 7 days trial good be a good idea, or a alfred'ish model.

Last Monday, I was with a friend and received an important email: had to send a few PDFs to a contact that were contained in a ZIP file. He was amazed that I could do that easily with my android phones, unzip, share the files through gmail

I would love that, I have never seen any interest to subscribe to their Ubuntu One service. I would be pleased to access Amazon Cloud from Ubuntu, and have a system-wide integration. Hope this is their long term strategy.

I agree about the software implication in these benchmarks. It is simply not the same OS, nor browser, nor javascript engine, so I don't see how this test is relevant...

I have the impression that some programmers would like this discipline to be exclusive to a few people, like if it was only for the elite. I don't really like this kind of spirit, I simply think some people don't see enough interest in prog

I would genuinely be interested to hear what makes IntelliJ Idea better than, let's say, Eclipse for example. I know Eclipse is a bit slow, and sometimes buggy (mostly due to addons installed on top of it), but it is also free, open source,
