Steve Gibson has a decent DNS Benchmark tool for Windows as well: http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm (Level 3's DNS servers were slightly faster than Google's for me) It has a list of several public DNS servers.

I'm embarrassed to say: each one took about 10-25 minutes. The math ones took a lot longer. I used up two Sharpie markers in the process. My handwriting was hard to read, so I had to do a lot of editing with Paint.net to make them legible.

Right. You could effectively create a new git revision for the document on each keystroke and then allow branching/merging, but the UI would be challenging and probably not worth the effort.
