Thanks. I tried several, but I suppose they could all be bad. Mass storage mode works, though.

Thanks. That's what I did. When set to PC Remote mode, the camera does not show up is lsusb or gphoto2. The other modes work, but don't support capture.

My Sony a6300 is supported, but I can't get it to work. Doesn't even show up on lsusb when I connect in PC remote mode, much less in gphoto2 --auto-detect. I'm stumped. Too bad, that would have been useful.

SAP and Deutsche Telekom -- two large IT corporations -- are the main developers. I don't know why the government doesn't hold the copyright, maybe it should. They've released it as free software, though (Apache license).

I disagree, for the reasons stated. But I'm not a constitutional expert, less so for a country that is not my own. That said, you haven't answered my questions.

What are you hinting at? A second amendment thing? Because that really has nothing to do with the monopoly on use of violence. You can be violent without a gun. Who gets to be violent in a legal manner is an orthogonal issue. And how is it

Not that you claimed anything else but: A bit less than half of all households in Germany have a dryer[1], air drying is very common. Your landlord cannot prevent you from drying clothes within your flat, any terms to that end in your lease
