Where do you get these assumptions from? My parents absolutely could not have afforded to pay for college without extremely generous financial aid. Thankfully, that's exactly what elite universities provide. I know plenty of other peop

I'm sick of hearing this meme that Ivy league universities automatically mean you were born wealthy. Top universities have, by far, the most generous financial aid you can get out there.

Perhaps, but I've monitored the volume of data uploads by the Facebook app and they're pretty minimal. There's also the fact that Facebook has gone on the record specifically disavowing this conspiracy. If it were true, they

Instead of depending on the charity of others, why not seek financial independence? As a (presumably) well-paid tech worker, it's really very achievable. Most engineers could do it in under a decade if they tried.

I'm curious where you're experiencing so much self-checkout. The vast majority of stores I go to have, at most, a single self-checkout lane. Personally, I think if Amazon Go can follow through on its promise we'll see a drast

Juno is totally non-viable. Being "better for drivers" is not a competitive differentiator. 99% (including me) don't choose services based on which is "better for drivers."

I already did. $200k is very achievable for senior developers in big tech, with potentially another $50-100k in RSUs on top. Finance you're typically looking at $180k total comp.
