PHPStorm still isn't able to handle autocompletion for cascading class / folder structures, where there is more than one class/file with the same name (but in different folders) such as Kohana or FuelPHP: http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issu

What I can say it's a B2B SaaS app, targeted at small businesses - basically all of them, so not exactly a niche product ;-) and there's a lot of competition around, that we have to "out-smarteking" as I call it. Something in the realms of

We switched from a 30 day to a 14 day (2 weeks) trial period. We found out that if the user does not use the service within the first two weeks, he is not very likely to use it in week 3 or 4 as well. When we've split-tested sign-ups we di

As an alternative I have never seen Powerfolder ( http://www.powerfolder.com ) mentioned here, and that's a pity. Powerfolder surely is not a nice and shiny start up (German private company, since 2003), but it has worked for us for over 3

Before you put time in learning Photoshop maybe you can try Adobe Fireworks first, which is Adobes "web designer" product. It's much more intuitive than Photoshop, which I never managed to get around with, no layer stuff etc. Just draw, pai

I definitely would use a nice separate service for incoming emails because parsing incoming emails is a PITA. There are services like Mailgun or Sendgrid with incoming mail parse APIs, but they concentrate more on the sending end. Features:

+1 for Cherokee. We use it with php5-fpm - it's rock solid, low on memory consumption and super fast. The admin interface rocks. You can edit the config file by hand or by scripts, the file is just not very "human readable".
