That's technically true, but most average users probably don't care. It's like optimizing your car's fuel efficiency by changing your spark plugs more often. When was the last time you changed your spark plugs?

Good point, but unfortunately on a lot of vendor sites, the checkout experience is still sub-par, some require you to create an account (Annoying if you know it's just a one-time purchase). On amazon, it's click and done. The ship

I love my HomePods, I got 2 of them paired for stereo sound. I use them from an AppleTV for room-filling sound, as well as sometimes from my iPhone. The sound quality is really awesome.
