These days there's lots of news about no-name ebikes and battery-powered scooters catching on fire, so maybe it depends on how you get that battery?

This is also obvious if you think about installing OpenWRT on a router. You'll quickly find out that there's often various versions of the same product; it used to be that they would mark it somewhere, but that doesn't always

Given how small the batteries are, they probably have similar costs for shipping and handling. So there's a cost to get _anything_ to the local store, plus the cost of the actual goods.

They might have to say anything from Temu is banned. No need to open the box, just check the shipper.

But it's the human review that makes it not rude; not bothering to review means you're wasting the other person's time. If they wanted a chatbot response they could have went to the LLM directly. It's like pointing to a

To me, it's different because having read a book, remembered it, and pulled out the quote means you spent time on it. Pasting a response from ChatGPT means you didn't even bother reading that, understand the output, thought about

Anime is more a medium than a genre; it's like saying one does not like claymation or live-action movies.

Tell that to Google intentionally slowing down Firefox even without ad blocking. (I'm talking about them using the fallback for web components instead, not the slowdowns when ads don't load.)

From the article comments, that only applies if your phone is pristine (I guess because opening the phone stresses the screen, so if the screen has any damage it'll exacerbate the problem). Also linked in the article, getting the cash

Gun control is harder to do like that because guns are physical objects and it's trivial to bring them across unmanned borders. Something like subscriptions are much easier to deal with because that can just be based on billing address

The docs for ZBT-1 seems to indicate that it can only do one of ZigBee or Thread at a time (that is, you must choose one of the two firmwares to flash), right? It looks like there's third-party work to make Sonoff ZBDongle-E (which is

Luckily in the mentioned 140 you can now configure Firefox to show tabs in the sidebar, and then actually use the Tree Style Tabs sidebar instead, not showing the native tabs at all.

That would make communicating with bits on Earth kind of painful though; I suppose that would work for a server that serves other sun-synchronous objects, but that seems like a rather small market.

I suspect in that case it's to get their name in front of people's faces for marketing purposes. If things are actually seamless enough that you don't need to re-auth, you won't be reminded that their company exists.
