I have tmux set up so that pressing the prefix key twice switches to the previously selected window. I don't remember whether it was like that out of the box, or whether I had to configure that when I switched from gnu screen. I take i

Am I right in thinking that the tmux integration won't work if you use mosh? (iTerm2 -> mosh -> tmux)

Does tmux integrate with itself? That is, does this solve the problem of needing different prefix keys when nesting tmux sessions (whether using iTerm2, or using a terminal emulator that doesn't itself integrate with tmux)?

It's not possible to syntax-highlight perl code perfectly without compiling it... but I'd expect a decent perl syntax highlighter to process that line correctly.

1. The type system is too complicated. 2. It's difficult to find implicits. If I am looking for a Haskell typeclass instance, I know it will probably be defined either in the same module as the type, or the same module as the typeclass

I would say that if you can't fit a function onto your screen, it's too long and should be broken up.

I don't understand the motivation for this. The author blithely says to google for something... I must not be using the right keywords. You'd think he could at least link to a few examples.

You get warned about caps lock being on before you enter your password, so it's not a security issue. Before OSs did this, when I mistakenly had caps lock on while entering my password, my thought process after each password attempt
