Have you tested the map? The colours made me think you supported most of Africa but none of North America, which is silly.

Set the noprocrast option in your HN profile. maxvisit is the number of minutes you're allowed to spend on HN at a time, and minaway is the number of minutes you must then wait until you can use HN again. My guess is that your browser had t

Example.com is the third party. (Example.org and a human user being the first two parties.) Let me rephrase my question: why the default assumption that example.com is trusted not to misuse referrer information merely because example.org

So my understanding is that the default behaviour is: 1. Follow link from https://example.org to http://example.com --- referrer is not sent 2. Follow link from https://example.org to https://example.com --- referrer is sent I don't

My editor claims I'm using a font size of 8, but doesn't say what units it's using; you don't specify a unit either. I can tell my editor isn't measuring in physical pixels: the glyphs aren't blocky enough.

TFA is an ideological rant. Which is not to say that the Nestle CEO was not also on an ideological rant, or hypocritical, or whatever. But I don't want to see this sort of propaganda on HN. It is unbecoming of us.

It might be helpful if you say how much backup space you need. e.g. Dropbox is fine for me because I just don't take that many photos so their free plan is enough for me.

Offhand, I'd look into NearlyFreeSpeech.net (free when you have no traffic) + CloudFlare (lower the cost of a spike in traffic). But I don't know whether e.g. NearlyFreeSpeech allows you to not use their dns when hosting a site with them. D
