Indeed. Personally I think it's somewhat perverse how a huge machine operating at a loss can redistribute so much wealth though, to the top, no less. That was sort of my point. Like, I could have an easier time accepting Spotify losing

Daniel Ek and Drake certainly have made money. Smaller artists? Not a chance. They get paid in exposure, which is the #1 rule not to do in the creative arts.

The stock benefit could be written down in the collective bargaining agreement, or it could still be offered on top of it. Nothing prevents this. The whole "we offer better compensation than an agreement with the unions would" is

Today I upgraded RouterOS from 7.10 to 7.12 on a hAP ac3, which went well, and on a CRS, which wiped the entire config, and the cloud backup was not restorable. Trying a subsequent downgrade (so I could perhaps restore the 7.10 cloud backup

I measured the energy consumption of my connected iQ-500 Siemens dishwasher. It used 750 Wh per load total, regardless if I used eco (3h55min) or 40/50 degree standard program (2h15min). I am guessing the "eco" mode only save

Are they good really? Like half of my AAA devices don't even work on 1.2V. I've dabbled in USB-C rechargeable Li- Ion AA/AAA, but they're quite expensive and the charge lasts a short time. They're mostly useful in r

All the new contact sensors seem to be that large now, including Philips' and Aqara's new ones. They do indeed use larger batteries and they claim several years of use. But man they are so bulky I don't see myself using them.

Because the right to strike is written in the constitution. Postnord isn't really in the wrong here, but instead it's the Swedish DMV that has a questionable inflexibility of using something else than Postnord. The state is not su

This is so depressing. Bandcamp was the last bastion of what once made the Internet great. I could do without everything else, really. It's all greed now.
