Even if they were using the total yearly production of tapes, depending on the estimate you choose, that ~100EB is still only something like 1/50th of yearly internet traffic. Much more realistic to assume if it was worth saving in the

Have you written about this at all? Curious if you've played around with a MRMS-esque (Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor) approach to ingesting multiple passes on the same area to "get more resolution for free"

Waste of tokens IME, better to do it like this and leave that kind of post processing to signature obfuscation. You don't need exploratory docs, try asking one for complete function signatures of all the Windows APIs used, it's go

Directory filtering needs to be fixed, one weird filename or symlink will make it BSOD. SSDT should probably have a lock. The chance of a race is ~low (higher under heavy sustained workloads) but it's too important to leave to chance.

They do the same thing with their cars! Incredibly expensive proprietary fasteners that you might only need 12 of sold in unit sizes like 500 or 1000. Sometimes they change multiple times per model year. You cannot buy them secondhand or sh

Yep. Knew someone that got himself killed thinking that being strong was the same thing as knowing how to fight. Stupidly got into a fistfight on pavement outside a bar, got knocked out and that was it.

You are _not_ getting one of these for less than $300, and because of this post and many like it, there are countless scams selling just cases for them at this price from a dollar or two of filament.
