It’s great that you know about how Docker works. How about being a little more informative in your comments here?

I fairly regularly use the “search tools” option in google to filter results to within the past day, or month, or whatever.

On the opposite side of that, why should Reddit make their search better if everyone already knows not to use it? Google works just fine. Spending the money to improve and code a new search function doesn’t gain them anything. They’d just l

Anecdotal, but I’ve never had any problem like this with Spotify. I’ve been a user for about 10 years now.

Cool! The Examples tab shows the same 2 examples repeated, at least for me it does.

The music on the demo video sounds really off, like it’s coming from a cheap radio. I’m watching/listening on my phone, but other things don’t sound that way on these speakers. It sounds shrill and tinny.

I wondered the same thing - is any of this reproducible? Or do we just have to guess whether the author is telling the truth about the output? Or is this obviously fake and I’m just taking it too seriously? It seems like a fun creative writ

I think part of the issue is that the title is a bit clickbait-y. Sure, it’s technically a correct title, but at first glance it seems much more interesting than it actually is.

I got the same feeling from this post. It admonishes creating poor or unnecessary abstractions without demonstrating how to identify and avoid the problem. How can you look at one interface/abstraction/api and concretely say “this

It’s a sign that more places than 1 may also have this requirement. You don’t have to make it a thing.

It’s too bad the gifs seem to be just file references instead of real-time animations. Looks like some of the code snippets do not match their animations. For example, parLoopA and parDropA seem to have the same sample code, but have differ

Probably has something to do with the fact that every movement is pushed to the browser history. Try pushing back button after you have moved the map a little.

> they aren’t confined to rigid rules Ok, but let’s just assume for a second that there was some standard. Your statement would still be true. Nobody is “confined to rigid rules” unless we also make the Grammar Police a real thing.
