This sounds like a real time synthesizer for performing rather than an editor for instruments piped in via VSTs or MIDI? Pretty cool, like a DAW-inspired tracker for samples. On Linux, I would still pipe it into ardour to create a mix, fr

The translate widget isn't working, on my mobile browser. As a product, it is definitely redundant and seems a bit late to the game, but I guess it won't hurt? ... who knows what'll happen.

A lot of channels, opinion news ones IME, seem to have reverted to early Crunchyroll levels of ad redundancy. Are there fewer bids for the ad spots? Is the audience too small or a narrow part of it so valuable that the prices for the spot

This is a good example of cross language interop making sense, and of considering the vast array of old C libraries to be something worth remembering - and maybe putting in your toolkit. Wasm seems to cover a lot of this use case too, and

It is crazy how disingenuous this comic is. I get that it was fun to make, but damn I wish that it informed rather than propagandized.

Selective empathy is a sign that you're not in a good place. Maybe you should join a program. Definitely talk to someone about wanting to hurt people. That isn't good.

Facebook groups has, weirdly enough, had a bunch of quality discussions similar to Reddit. Can't speak for Instagram, but FB groups are worth peeking into to follow your favorite software projects.

How did half of Norway get an invite? I don't see how it takes off like this. Their SEO keeps it off of some front pages as well. Very much a closed platform, sadly.

I live in a rural area, where the taxis, Uber, and lyft compete. The taxi companies don't offer calls in advance, or reserved rides, not one or four companies that could cover my area. You would have to hire a limosouine driver. Lyf

The moral argument I always hear for our high prices is that it uniquely benefits medical research. I'm not convinced that dichotomy exists, and that those aren't largely indepedent of each other.
