Good advice. But a small correction. Step Functions have a limit too. I think it’s 25,000 transitions per execution.

Curious, why do you think that is? My guess is that the software is so boring that it attracts weak engineers. But the complexity is really high due to the regulations. So in the end it’s a bad mix.

But $3-5K for a bicycle? How can I justify that if my Mazda3 2008 is worth that much, and still runs perfectly fine?

I use OpenPhone.co for this. Great polished UI, and ok mobile app. The only downside is some services do not respect virtual numbers, notably Amazon. But the same issue would be with Twilio.

I’m not sure if that’s the vaccines or your own immunity. Judging by your comment regarding running I’m guessing you are a healthy person. Which probably means your immunity is strong too. Two counter anecdotes. Both omicron. 1. A person I

I want the original SE back with better specs. All this other SE not really SE in my mind. Just an imitation :)

Maybe they want to offer free service, but monetized by ads?

I don’t think the algo had an ideology lean though. It just showed you more of what you’ve already watched. Also not great.

How about neither? Let kids or parents curate themselves.

Human curation, eh? Will I be able to choose the ideology setting?

Is there a commercial aspect there too? Are there “shop houses” on the first floor? To me the ultimate superblock is one that has everything needed for day to day. Like a small family grocer, barber, bank, etc.

Haha that’s funny. Hope you are right!

Also maybe mention specific channels. Because there are plenty of disinformation channels as well. A regular citizen won’t be able to tell them apart.

If the authors are reading, I recommend to randomize the message a little bit to avoid getting flagged by ISPs. You can use “spintax” for this.

Not sure which reports you are referring to, but polling shows that Putin’s approval had increased to 70% after he started the war in Ukraine.

Don’t think this will happen. Russian have been hardened historically thru wars, 90s and other crises. Common people are very resilient and many grow their own food up to this day.

There was already evidence of that. Apparently Russian troops were selling diesel fuel to the locals while they were waiting at the border before the war had started.

Sounds too dumb to be true. Especially since they were found out. There’s a message way above says “this link has been shared in public chats, please only share with friends.” And they go on recruiting more and more.
