Try running it through proton, you might be surprised.

Hearing that VR works well with passthrough makes me want to try it again. I remember when I last tried it, everything worked great except for sound, which was staticky and choppy unless I handed the whole soundcard over to the VM.

I have no idea why you're downvoted. This is absolutely a valid concern and one of the biggest reasons why I'm staunchly anti-Apple.

That sounds like the absolute worst thing I can imagine ever happening to computing.

Does anyone know if PipeWire can do audio streaming like PulseAudio can? I had a rather nice setup using a raspberry pi and an old stereo system a while back that I'd like to replicate.

For the time, it was some of the best tablet hardware on the market, Android or otherwise. IIRC it came out before both Windows 8's tablet push and Android 3.x, so a hackable tablet with decent hardware was something of a novelty. The

I remember AIM having the ability to forward messages to SMS when you were offline, and Pidgin had the ability to "pounce" someone, which would queue up a message to send them next time they logged on.

Nothing based in reality, I'm positive of that much. I also don't particularly care.

The companies I've worked for have in-house IT because outsourced IT is a dumpster fire 100% of the time.

Technically you're correct in that food withdrawal will kill you, but that doesn't make the observation any less obtuse.

If the plane is connected to anything else, it can be hacked. Just because it hasn't been reported yet doesn't mean it's impossible or even that it hasn't happened.

What exactly do you think IT does? Risk mitigation is a part of the job, but god damn is that a reductionist view of it.

Both of those work out of the box for me on my reverse proxy. I use the built-in Collabora install though so maybe that's where the difference comes from.

Linux support for Chromebooks is nowhere near as good as it used to be. I spent way too long trying to get sound working on a C302 with Ubuntu before giving up and going back to ChromeOS, and that's even got an x86 processor. I can

I think you might be overcomplicating this, because the Docker setup of Nextcloud is one of the easiest and most streamlined I've seen on Docker Hub. Including the proxy, all you need to give it is the DNS name, the ports you want open

You'd also either need two GPUs or some way to mux the guest output into the host output, so it's almost assuredly not happening.

The fact that you immediately translate the phrase "far right" into "Nazi" is on you, bud. You also have yet to provide a source for any of this.

That's not my point. My point is that you're assuming OP is on board with those things as well, which is something you can't prove. You've made a strawman argument about someone you've never met and know nothing abo

If it's not nonsense, then it should be trivial for you (NOT US) to prove as much with a peer-reviewed study.

Yeah that's not what OP is talking about. Windows lets you half-width maximize windows next to each other, then drag the border in between to resize both [0]. What you've provided is, essentially, a way to make it easy to line up

I'll have to try that when I get home. I seem to remember that being covered, but I may be thinking of Fedora.
