Poor people from low socioeconomic families will always find a way to ruin their lives. Gambling, smoking, drinking, drugs, risk taking behaviours, crime. We can either ban everything, or accept that certain groups of people will just abuse

Probably not. I am just not in favour for putting them in hospitals. You won’t “fix” a Taoist or murderer. Put them in prison for life, make them work for food and housing.

If you develop in .Net, User Secrets. Best idea ever. If you don’t, .env files with a proper .gitignore Or AWS secrets manager, GitHub secrets, Azure KeyVault and inject them. If you run on something like Azure, use Managed Identities. Pass

They have. Distance calculations are off, they know it, and trying to make it more accurate. They can’t use Einstein because it’s too complicated so they use approximations, and they know it. If the basic assumptions of your calculations ar

With our calculations. Which we know use wrong distance, don’t take spin direction into account, and use newton instead of Einstein. And use things like pi=3=1 and a whole bunch of other simplifications. It’s a miracle it predicts anything

Ah, gotcha. I agree it would be difficult. I’m still not convinced it would be impossible though. LLMs could even formalise what you want in the context, even now. Or do you mean that you can’t formalise every statement when given incomplet

Why not? Bigger is a measure of size and ought to be easy enough to formalise. Apply a transformation to B which increases its area and leaves the proportion of its sides equal. Why would this statement not be formalisable?

That might very well be the case. It would probably be more honest to give the content creators stocks or say “partly ran by content creators” instead of “owned by content creators” in this case, no?

If people are unable to get the results from a study, but get confused by a headline, what makes you think they’ll be able to draw correct statistical conclusions from talking to a couple of people with inherent bias and small sample size?
