Mine has all kinds of buttons that never get used...under the hood. Outside of the door it thankfully has buttons for 1 Minute, Start, and Stop. Very nicely done.

I don't get your comment. How is Craigslist sad? Everyone seems to use them and I hear very few complaints. And I personally find the website very easy to navigate.

It is so cheap to collect and store nowadays that your argument won't be true for long, if it even still is.

Maybe this shows a generational gap...but I don't think I could ever consider downloading at 600k/sec pitiful.

So does this mean I don't have to listen to people on HN complain about Netflix/Xbox Live/Pissroulette/etc. not being available outside the US anymore? Thank God!

I would expect UPS to inspect whatever they wanted to, unless UPS specifically stated they would not.

I could have sworn they invented web pages for that.

I considered verbal communication as the most secure! I'm curious what would be considered more secure. The only method more secure that I can think of is sign language, but that doesn't translate electronically.

I noticed you didn't use a URL shortener on your own company's URL. Why is that?

Yeah this story is right up there with Obama not being an American for me. Until someone has any reasonable proof I just can't seem to care.

You've been brainwashed. The best option for consumers is for it to be free, with no ads.

Good thing the folks quoted above are stupid! First of all they give us what they love, death. Thanks! Secondly, there is no death without life...so they will always be beholden to us.

So what would folks using an ad blocker be then, if they're " just short of thieves "? I was hoping you had a website in your profile so I could surf all over it.

No one really cares about transgender people. They make up such a small percentage of the population that they're not worth worrying about. In nearly all cases they are forced into the existing system/structure, unless legally required ot

I would also pay for such a service. I have several old band shirts that belonged to my dad that just can't safely be worn anymore. I'd love to be able to pay someone to recreate those. T-shirts would be the simple case though. I have ot

" MS's focus here with ESPN and the NFL is bang-on. " I disagree. They managed to partner with the NFL but yet not show any games. Most of the games for my favorite team I still can't watch. Seems really lame to me.

Ha! That totally reminded me of my dog. He begs and begs for a treat, and when he finally realizes he's not getting his nth treat that day he totally "extinction bursts" and starts ramming his head into things. Stand clear when he does that
