There's only two things I hate in this world: people who do column alignment for vars and function params, and the Dutch.

The problem is not really the power she has, the problem is that both the heads of state of all EU countries along with the entire EU Parliament approved her. Twice. They want her there to push what EPP wants to do, while taking all the bad

If it's a psyop it's only on the side that China might be somehow better, cause frankly neither my home country nor any others I've visited throughout the EU (and by now that's over half of them) are particularly good in

Arguably compute performance has changed very little in the past five years and we're way into diminishing returns for silicon, so yes it makes perfect sense for devices to last more than a decade and remain perfectly capable machines

Does that conceptually imply we might get newer OS releases for ARM machines that ship with one that's already outdated and call it good? That would be pretty epic, but I doubt it covers it.

No I mean the total frequency range is much smaller. The US has 26 MHz width, while EU/Africa/India only allocated 7 MHz total. The difference in absolute frequency is minimal at ~30 MHz, you almost get more difference from using

Dead outside the US unfortunately, worse range than regular wifi due to being strangled by lower channel width and ridicolously low power limits. The two bulky HaLowLink routers are the only off the shelf thing with support for it, it'

There was just this video [0] yesterday showing the whole process for a GaN LED, it's fascinating how crude the post processing can be in contrast with the ultra precise etching and layering. [0] https://www.youtube.com/

Ha, I'm always struggling with UI performance in Blender. Undo takes ages and freezes up everything, modifiers start lagging mouse movement as soon as you have more than a handful of polygons. I shudder to imagine what Max must be like

That only works with competent lecturers. I can speak for my experience at a more mid university, where that would apply to about two thirds of the classes. For the remaining third, going to the lectures felt genuinely counterproductive and

I thought that it was generally accepted by now that homework in the volumes that it is being assigned in the modern day was not found to be beneficial in any significant way in the first place? Maybe once all students start outsourcing it

From what I've noticed at least for myself, there are like at least two distinct parts that don't always cooperate. There's a draft part that's random thoughts that just appear and can be converted immediately to speech,

I'm not super versed on the subject, but I think there's a case where using radians allows you to do direct multiplication without any conversion when trig isn't even involved, for rotation or transformation matrices? In whic

I think the context into which Framework introduced repairable laptops is mainly the Mac dev crowd who've only ever experienced Apple's glued together brick with serial number locked parts that gets replaced whole or not at all.

I was using that approach with Fable to great effect, but with Opus it's useless. It just writes unreadable horseshit anyway, so banning comments entirely results in far more readable code. Still I always find it funny when I give it c
