I'm using mite ( http://mite.yo.lk/ ) for my freelance work, bit we don't use time tracking at our startup. The tech guys measure productivity by checking or crossing out squares on a squared notepad, but that's exclusively for self-assessm

http://rome2rio.com/ actually took a lot of hassle out of flying for me. Sure, they don't list "no-frills" airlines like Ryanair, but I don't want to fly those anyway. Check them out if you don't know the site yet, they were on HN some mo

Is this using the iHackernews API or did you roll your own? (I'm guessing the latter, since you reference jsoup.org?) The iHN API has been very unstable for me lately, but all other HN readers for Android seem to use it (or their UI is just

I had many similar problems, so many, in fact, that I asked for (and got) my money back for the Lion purchase. Things are a little better if you do a clean install instead of an upgrade from Snow Leopard, and a little worse if you have been

We're in Hamburg, if that qualifies, and we use Git. But so does almost every other startup I know. It's certainly not a German vs Others thing...

I highly recommend you get a good noise-canceling headset, put up some towels or carpets in a small room, and re-record the video. The sound will be a hundred times better. Take the opportunity to cut the video's length to a minute and a ha

Feature request: Some sort of API. The iHackernews API is okay when it works, which over the last few weeks has been about 30% of the time.

For one, I don't know of any client that still loads remote images without confirmation, much less 1x1 tracking images. Secondly, if I can sign someone else up without their knowledge and get you to send then unsolicited mail, you're riskin

Yes, at least in Germany, you have to show that the user confirmed their email, or risk a cease and desist when you mail them otherwise. Some lawyers send those for fun and profit.

iTunes is an abomination anyway, but the buttons at least look like buttons. Not so with sparrow, they are just darkish inset shapes. (Much like the Mac App Store, which, even though it's made by Apple, should not be used as an example for
