I recently found out about the Radxa Dragon Q6A. A Qualcomm chip with faster CPUs, a good GPU, a DSP and AI accelerator, and a hardware video encoder seems very compelling. It even supports Windows if you want that for some reason.

Seems like Theseus is not using OffscreenCanvas yet. Should be a good fit for something that runs off the main thread. Graphics can be rendered from a background worker thread directly to the screen without the involvement of the browser ma

Two Slice is smaller than other tiny pixel fonts I've seen. Maybe the smallest legible font? Depends on your definition of legibility I guess.

A pure whitelist mode, especially for video apps. Netflix, Disney, etc don't provide this because they want to push their new shows on your kids. YouTube does provide a whitelist mode, which I appreciate. But it's hard to find, po

Two successful test missions over 15 years using a dead end rocket and ship design for $50+ billion is not something to be proud of either. Starship's design is so far beyond where the rest of the world is that even if it takes another

Yes, reuse of the heat shield has been the biggest question mark of the whole program and this is by far the best result of any launch so far. This is the first time it looks plausible that you could consider reusing the heat shield.

I don't have an explanation of the touch controls on the site, I guess I probably should as they aren't entirely standard although I hope they're intuitive. It's a two thumb control scheme for Cave Story: Left thumb drag

The wealth tax that we should have is a federal property tax, in the form of a land-value tax. A property tax is more enforceable and produces much better incentives than an income tax or capital gains tax or death tax or wealth taxes in ot

I wish there was an instant play button for some of the multiplayer games, the server browser interface is kind of obtuse. I did the Quake 3 port that they used as the base for their Q3A, and I have my own site that lets you instantly drop

Lots of laptops have M.2 ports. You can also get M.2 for Raspberry Pi. I don't know why I would buy this device. I guess it's cool that it's small, but the screen sucks.
