It's so difficult to compare these models because they're not running the same set of evals. I think literally the only eval variant that was reported for both Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.3-Codex is Terminal-Bench 2.0, with Opus 4.6 at 65.

People pooh-poohing space datacenters will obviously think this is a bad move. But Elon clearly believes space datacenters will work. Given that, and the fact that SpaceX will IPO this year, this acquisition was inevitable. SpaceX and xAI w

I'm less concerned with whether it is technically opt in or opt out and more concerned with whether it is commonly enabled in practice. What would resolve my objection is if Apple either made messages backups E2EE always, as Google did

Signal and Apple and Google all use HSMs in datacenters as well as on device.

HSMs are designed to protect encryption keys from everyone including the manufacturer. Signal trusts them for their encryption features. It's the best security possible for E2EE backups with passcode recovery, and Apple does it too for

It means, for example, Google Messages uses E2EE backups. Google cannot read your E2EE messages by default, period. Not from your own backup, not from other peoples' backups. No backup loophole. Most other E2EE messaging apps also do n

If you read the link you would know that contrary to your expectation other apps advertising E2EE such as Google's Messages app don't allow the app maker to read your messages from your backups. And turning off backups doesn'

This would be useful if it actually did some reasoning about the effects of aging on different materials, consequences of certain design decisions, etc. It's not doing that at all, and so it's just misleading instead. If you actua

It's business as usual for Elon. This is his main strategy. He always goes all in on risky technology that people say won't work. People said it about EVs. They said it about reusing first stages. They said it about Starlink'

Hiding the bottom bar doesn't solve the problem because it still takes the corners away. You can't put UI there because the bottom bar will come up and cover it when you mouse into the corner. The OS is taking all four corners for

They ought to put the status bar at the bottom. All the designers using Macs probably forgot, but Chrome's tab interface was designed for Windows where it could be all the way at the top of the screen. And in general it's more com

I'm really at a loss to explain why there aren't more web games of this quality. It's totally feasible to make these, and yet they are so rare. I've ported a couple of games myself ( https://thelongestyard.link

This is what VLA models are for. They would work much better. Would need a bit of fine tuning but probably not much. Lots of literature out there on using VLAs to control drones.

When you look at a forum like that you have to realize that the actual scammers also post convincing complaints (omitting incriminating details). They likely outnumber the legitimate cases. It's all part of gaming the system.
