This is a really really fun sounding project - ironically, because there are no audio samples provided at all. I would have thought a music producer creating samples for music would naturally let you listen to what they were making.

Stateless infinite scroll is just lazy/incomplete implementation though - there’s no reason you can’t keep your place via permalink. Just pop the state into history using the uuid of each card as it shows in the viewport, then when th

‘Infantilizing’ is a bad take. Nobody likes doing chores, even if we understand the necessity of them. Anything you can do to make it more fun is a win.

Yeah I got Baith too, I have no idea what that is, I just guessed it because, you know, it looks like it’d fit as a rare English word.

Typically I’m incredibly cynical about “won’t somebody please think of the children” type stuff - but I’ve got to admit, this does seem like a lot more than I expected. And while a certain kind of kid, say, myself, would probably be just fi

100% disagree. If the software engineers strike, who’s going to be left to wrangle the AI? I would love to see what a game developer - nevermind released - that way would look like.

Ironically, you perform your own pet peeve here with ‘AI’ (Artificial Intelligence) “Oh but everyone here knows what AI means,” you say, and yet that’s what the very authors you complain about said too.

Except perhaps jail time. Lying about your assets to avoid paying a lawful fine is criminal. Just because they can’t see your money doesn’t mean they can’t prove that you have it, and can’t jail you for hiding it to get out paying a fine.

Yep all my projects start with a PLAN.md at the root, and that acts as the ‘save file’ recording our progress over time. My session always ends with updating the plan file with what’s been done, and the next session always begins, as you su

“Emoji Fatigue??” It’s a little late for that. Emojis are normal now. They’re to be expected. They’re here to stay, forever. Language has shifted. It’s ridiculous to try to pretend it’s upsetting it even novel at this point. What’s really

I got into Ente because I wanted to create photo upload links on a per-even basis - I can tell all my friends, if you take pics or video tonight, upload it at this URL - and it just works. No app necessary, very simple, very cheap. Then fro

Erotic content lowers the quality bar overall - or, maybe more proper to say, people are willing to put up with much worse quality, as long as it features content that arouses them. Settings, characters/pairings, sexualities, activitie

Right, but it’s a PS5, not a PC - you’re paying less for the privilege of letting Sony 100% control what you use the device for, including not being able to play your own games that you’ve paid for. Try doing that on a PC. Try checking your
