I think this can be viewing as harm reduction, analogous to giving needles to drug users. Sure it's easy to just say "They shouldn't be banning immigrants", but if they will anyway, we might as well make sure they do it

AFAIK, Xamarin Forms was always meant to be simplistic, and not very customisable. They even say it was meant to be called Xamarin Duplo, but trademarks.

My reading is that they are legally allowed to have sex, not rape. Whether that has led to abuses is a serious issue, but saying "legally allowed to rape" is misleading.

It's a bug. They were issuing VACUUM to the SQLite database way too often. Which, apparently, reacreates the database from scratch, since SQLite is by design rather simplistic.

And what I was originally trying to say, is that people like Snowden, or more precisely, people requiring Snowden-like security, should probably not use this feature despite the very impressive way they made it more secure.

Well, than I guess I got the wrong idea about them. I thought WhatsApp was supposed to be "for the common people", and Signal was more targeted towards the paranoid.
