It's not just Italy. For instance, I was married in a church built in the 10th century, in England.

Criminal damage is definitely classified as a crime, hence the name, even if the punishment is (as you say) likely just a small fine.

I'd say a G5 is way out of updates. I have the G8+ and it stopped getting security updates ages ago.

Agreed. Security shouldn't depend on not visiting certain web sites, because if nothing else the ad networks are able to get your browser to load all sorts of content from all sorts of places that you wouldn't deliberately do.

There are more "safe" languages than rust, especially if it's only "critical" software, not drivers.

The point about Android is particularly important. I wouldn't like to estimate the proportion of Android phones that are in regular use that no longer receive security updates.

And then someone rolls up with a bicycle, and because it doesn't have as much metal in it as the detector expects, they end up sitting at a red light forever. Been there, done that.

Any window that a telescope is looking through will need to be optically flat, otherwise it will totally mess up the ability of the telescope to get a clear image.

I agree, but have a simpler argument. Nobody deserves to have their computer compromised - whether they block ads or not is irrelevant. Saying otherwise is victim blaming. It's the same as saying that a woman who walks down the street

I find it utterly bizarre that the size of a "drink" is quoted here in ounces, so here's a conversion (assuming I have selected the right kind of ounce for my conversion): 12 ounces of beer is ~340ml, about a normal water d

I agree. I totally fail to see the attraction of alcoholic drinks. They're grown-up drinks, which means that they taste vile and make you feel sick.

One of the best ways is to look at the HaveIBeenPwned service https://haveibeenpwned.com/ - Troy Hunt goes around spending effort finding these things, so whether he has found it is a reasonable indication of whether it is

That does seem to me like a fairly obvious case of evil to me. I guess the reason is that they probably could have sued for malicious prosecution and asked the court to expunge it without signing a waiver, but it was easier to just sign.

The key point is that when using four tracks, the CPU basically just needed to tell the hardware where in memory a sample was, what frequency to play it at, and how long to go for, and then the hardware would just play it over DMA with no C

That's a vast exaggeration. At Denver's altitude, 1608m, there's about 85% as much atmosphere as at sea level. To get down to 50% atmosphere, you'd need to climb to around 5500m which is higher than Mount Elbert.
