Yeah, I've seen various people use these types of methods to prove a point, and each of them were able to come to their own conclusions based on the results. Ultimately you can manipulate any photo to look like this in the end, and some pho

Ah, so the issue is fitting the screenshot into a laptop. There might be a few things at play here. Are you using Layer Masks in Photoshop to accomplish this? If not, select the layer of the laptop in your Layers panel and click on the thir

Yup! I'm not sure what you mean by "never looks quite as polished". Paparazzi is like a little Webkit browser, so you're seeing the page exactly as it would be rendered in Safari. You have to click the little hand icon (bottom left) to in

Paparazzi! for OS X 10.6.8+ ( http://derailer.org/paparazzi/ - older versions also available) lets you choose the dimensions of the browser (so you can take screenshots of responsive/mobile designs), allows you to take a full-size shot o

I copied the marks in the example and besides needing to tell it to include the cream color under the strap, it worked exactly as shown on the homepage, so maybe just add that extra red there in the example. Unfortunately it is freezing up

I can't praise these two entries on the matter enough (here's the first one - http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2011/10/adventures-in-... ). They've allowed me to better explain to those on the outside what it truly feels like. She doe

Addendum to myself: http://www.coolorus.com/ for Photoshop or as a Flash standalone. It's more of a color-picker tool (based off of CorelDRAW's), but it has a schemer feature built-in.

I can't parse anything Ms. Allen writes. There needs to be some sort of textspeak/Twitter babble/missing characters translation after the original statement. Arrington's lawyer does a good job trying to pick up the pieces of her ramblings,

I'm swimming in endorsements from people who aren't qualified to do so. I've told this story on here before, but my co-worker was endorsed by one of our colleagues for something he never set as a skill to begin with; it was just some random

Right? I was incredibly surprised that there aren't others like it (Kuler angers me for reasons I will not get into here). Colourlovers has ColorSchemer ( http://www.colorschemer.com/osx_info.php ) but I'm not a fan of the interface or the

My initial concern with Scoutzie was that there was no way to verify that these "mobile designers" had actually tried and tested their designs in production vs. using a PSD device template; no app store links, no product websites. I think t
