Really loved the sense of community that sprouted up around those articles :) I remember everyone following each other's projects on github, and the discussions in the comments on the blog posts. Good memories :) I should finish my Ada

Great book, although I found it hard parse sometimes (compared to say the later chapters of SICP) which I suspect is because it is translated from french. Either way, it puts so much information in one place, it is incredibly valuable.

I tried to do ubuntu + thinkpad (also fedora + thinkpad), but after two weeks I still couldn't get external monitors to work, and neither could anyone in IT. I'd rather just get back to hacking.

You could try pulling up our profiler (Shift+F5). I didn't experience any jankiness and wasn't able to find anything by profiling either.

We're working on it :) BTW, we use bugzilla bugs for features too, so if you feel there is a specific feature missing, just open a bug for it.

I'm not so sure about that because CoffeeScript is a very fast moving language (one of its benefits) and it doesn't make sense to slow down the iteration cycle by integrating it with browsers directly. Then you would have to worry about whi
