PlantUML can't be beat IMHO for UML diagrams. It's the Markdown for UML.

Warning for all of those who are a little overweight and older. I forced myself to use a standing desk after reading all the health benefits. The end result was plantar fasciatis.

What would be the advantages of using this over static site generators?

I've never had any issues with GoDaddy for domains. There are always coupons for renewals. I've never paid more than $7/yr for each of the twenty or so domains I have. Just make sure you don't have domains autorenewing.

As others have pointed out here, the article above is much too large on an Apple 27" Cinema Display. One of my peeves with web pages in general is I choose a default font face, size and weight based on my monitor or laptop screen and t

Looks elegant. What's the status on the JVM backend? Had too many resource leaks running mono daemons (several years ago, not sure if mono has gotten better).

Good timing. I was waiting until a big player bought into OrientDB. SilverStripe may not be as big as Drupal, Joomla or WP but they have a large user base.

I think you get the best of both worlds with `gocraft/web`. I feel args when you inject 3 or more (db, session ...) is cumbersome. `gocraft/web` is faster too since it has less reflection.

Ridiculous. First Ryan Dahl, now Ben. Why does the guy who wrote the blog post still have a job? That is the most unprofessional post I've read on a company blog.

Github has been a much more productive resource for me as well as blogs. Yes, every now and then I find something valuable on StackOverflow but too many times the question I want answered is deemed not worthy or the answer outdated.

I recommend gvm which installs and manages go versions. If you want per project workspace, create a pkgset for each. Linking the current directory to the current workspace (pkgset) is something like this. # active workspace gvm pk

I still don't get vagrant. I create an image in VirtualBox. clone it, then provision with Ansible. The thing that has always bothered me about vagrant boxes is it has stuff baked into the image. I want state EXACTLY like I get on a bar

The only thing I really see in martini over plain gorilla mux is dependency injection which has a reflection cost. Once you peel back the Classic mode, which I advise not using except for trivial projects, your code base is about the same.

I'm building a hybrid app right now. I can't see Angular and all its magic being a good fit. The provided browser controls in smart devices have horrible performance and are often several releases behind. Most are deceived thinkin

I'll admit I'm one of those who whined about nodeJS targeting Windows. Windows is starting to look more and more like a first-tier nodeJS platform with help from Microsoft! Can't wait to try this out. How about a little golan

Ran into same issues with nodejs. If one of your dependencies use libxy 1.2 and your app depends on libxy 1.4, you have to be careful which one gets loaded first and hope one is compatiblew with the ohter. Good luck if the APIs are differen

If you deploy from git, like many of us do, and you're in the middle of pulling down dependencies from github .. It's happened a couple of times. We moved to our own private server with forks of any dependencies we need.
