I think people manipulating LLMs to praise Hitler and then taking pictures of it to push propaganda indeed "doesn't matter" and counts as drama. In all those screenshots you've seen they conveniently exclude the posts th

Because people generally care about things that actually matter rather than silly divisive drama.

The moon doesn't have the Earth's shadow on it though. So it's wrong in that respect too.

There's many more uses to oil than burning it directly. Much of what is in oil ends up in a landfill (i.e. plastics).

Where do you think the nitrogen in nitrogen fertilizers comes from? The atmosphere. The key part of the Haber-Bosch process that needs to be replaced is the hydrogen, which could easily be done with on-site electrolysis if needed. However o

People care too much about food waste. Food waste is a result of food being cheap. If food stops being cheap then it stops getting wasted. (And when I mean cheap I'm talking about the price its purchased at at a bulk level.) And you&#x

More discredited "population bomb" thinking. The earth is not heading for overpopulation and there is no shortages in food generation. We produce so much extra food that we feed it to cattle and turn it into vehicle fuel at massiv

Those first two with engine failures you mentioned were caused by contamination issues inside the vehicle, solved by adding filtration systems. Those last two were on the second stage so no comparison to the N1 with its massive numbers of e

The FAA only cares about things that have FAA licenses. A static test fire is not FAA licensed so there won't be any FAA investigation.

Sure, but Elon's (SpaceX really) isn't trying to build a heavy lift rocket (they already have one in the Falcon Heavy, and technically even the Falcon 9 in expendable mode) they're trying to build a fully reusable vehicle, an

A triple stage rocket when you're trying to do reuse is actually a negative. The second stage needs significant heat shielding as a result which drastically eats into the size of the upper stage and your ultimate payload.

What Saturn V and the Shuttle were trying to do pales in comparison to what the design goals of Starship are. If you were trying to repeat what those vehicles were doing you would've designed the launch vehicle significantly different.

Starship was started long before the US government spent any money on it. And Starlink is what pays for Starship development.

N1 was much simpler in a lot of ways though than what Starship is trying to do. There also aren't engine problems like the N1 had. I don't think the comparisons are very apt. The parts are not what are failing. It's the overa

The title is clickbait. This is just a standard required notice by the state of Texas that is needed whenever zoning changes are announced. Starbase is implementing mixed-use zoning and thus the notice is required.
