This might sound naive and OT but how hard was it to implement a payment gateway for this project? Please consider I am a lowly PHP programmer and am merely curious of how hard this is to implement in RoR.

I've been kicking around a similar idea, but with a stronger emphasis on the user model as a mentor/apprentice experience. It would be certainly harder to implement than what you are describing, which, and correct me if I'm way off here, wo

If you think that's wild, check out nativeclient ( http://code.google.com/p/nativeclient/ ); it makes WebGL and HTML5 look like a quick hack. Not that I am hating on either one, but nativeclient could certainly be the end-all-be-all of diss

I agree; I hate these 'social faux pas' posts for web/graphic designers. I'm also increasingly beginning to hate this model of 'designer playing publisher' and abusing wordpress as a CMS for 'premium content' and buying/selling ad space. 1/

Does anyone else dismiss this phenomenon as just a generation misusing an interactive medium? I think the "noob" label is misleading given the scope of the problem.
