Why a new Network? personaly I think, that one shouldn't start a new social network but leverage an existing one. IMHO the community could already profit a lot from dedicated groups on Facebook, LinkedIn or another existing SN. The network

Thank you for further elaborating your idea. I think the experiment would be a great idea and doing it the way you propose with empirical data to back up the machine generated statistics could provide very valuable insights. Also one could

I think that both those KPIs are quite a good idea, but they can alos lead to quite wrong measurements: What if this leads to people just clicking on every comment link to find out if there is a discussion or if there is a new post... etc.

Interesting idea, but: You have to worry about measurability. How would you measure the quality of the site? And how would you do it objectively?

I just read through the document... The surveillance is only applicable if a lawsuit has been started. So one needs put this into context but it still brings up some concerns. As far as I understood it this measure is taken to be able to do

I don't think their main motivation was openness, but ease of use. Most (or at least a lot of) people already have iTunes and iTunes offers an easy ability to buy music which Palm probably couldn't achieve on its own...

I'm using it as a blog. I like the ease with which I can use it and how I can write my posts offline (GMail with Gears) and then upload them as soon as I have an Internet connection.

I just love Posterous, it's a great product and the pace at which they add new features is great. One feature I just realized I would love to have is to "integrate" Dropbox Photo Uploads in a post in the same way I can add Photos to an emai

The other question is the legal ramifications if the continue TPB's current "illegal" activity and profit from them. I think even in Sweden the legal base there is questionable (after the judgment against the four founders of TPB)...

Just a short summary: In Marketing and Strategic Management this effect is called the 9X effect. It stipulates, that you underestimate the power/usefulness of a new product 3 times and overestimate the old product 3 times as well. This mea

I once bought a can of it to create a home made dry-erase board and it didn't work that well... Smears remained, and you can't clean it of the way you clean of a regular whiteboard. In addition, the paint I had wasn't magnetic, which is a d

For me a 10 gig account for less money, e.g. $39, would be perfect, I only sync documents but am reaching my limit now, and $99 is somewhat a lot especially because I don't need the offered 50 GB... For people with the need for more storage
